We loved Istanbul. The sights, the food, the Turkish Delight. Ephesus is a ruin to see. We took the tour which also takes you to Mary's house. Would go back to explore more.

Came here in July '23 and it was a terrible decision. I enjoyed Istanbul's charming architecture and great food, but my god, the scorching heat was too much. And the never-ending traffic. 

almost died and left with life threatening condition from food poisoning picked up in Istanbul — we will NEVER return to Turkey
