Impressive from all aspects and stayed at the Lausanne Palace Hotel which gave me an insight of how royalty travelled and the hospitality afforded to them.

The city was impressive but the surrounding areas with the natural scenery was even mor admirable.

Enjoyed sightseeing there although at the time I could only admire without any historical knowledge of what I was seeing.

Probably my favorite city in Switzerland… the street artists, musicians etc were fantastic

Visited Zurich during the 1982 riots — coincidentally — and accepted the hospitality of the AJZ for my brief stay.

Nice city but I preferred to spend more time in Grindelwald nearby as the natural scenery and the omonymous glacier were more to my liking.
