Santiago de Compostela is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in the Christian world. Every year, many thousands of pilgrims walk along the Jacobite Road to the city where, according to legend, the Apostle Jacob is buried.
Pilgrims from all over the world have walked the Camino de Santiago trails across Europe for centuries, making their way to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia, North-West of Spain.
