I do not know where to begin when it comes to India. It is not a place you go for a vacation. It is a place you go for an experience. India was incredible. It will awaken every possible sense. You must look past the extreme poverty to see the beauty India has to offer. The people are incredibly humble and kind. The food was fantastic. India will certainly leave an imprint in your mind and in your heart. Varanasi is a must. Seeing the cremations on the Ganges river I will never forget. Experiencing the Arti ceremony at night was amazing. The Taj of course is beautiful. The dollar goes super far here. The chai tea so good. India, unforgettable.
South Korea is off the beaten path but I was very impressed with how clean and modern the places I visited were. I stayed in Busan and traveled to Gyeongju and Tongyeong. Haeundae Beach is gorgeous. The food is very heavy emphasis on seafood and vegetables. Which I do not favor. But I had some of the best Korean BBQ ever. The people were friendly but with the exception of the tour guides and hotel reception, English is very limited. The dollar goes far here.
