Actually I think to stay two days in such places it could be a little boring. Above all if it's snowing and it's difficult to walk outside.
I suggest you to think about Bregenz or, better in my opinion, Lindau on the Constance lake. you can do a beautiful trip by bus on the lake shores up to Meersburg and than take a ferry to join Constance. Don't forget to go to Schaffhausen to watch the bespoken Rheinfalls. Spectacular!
From there, by train, you can go easily to Lucerne. If you go there before Dec. 8th you'll find everywhere Xmas Markets (Weinachtenmarkt). Actually it's not the best place (you should go to Bayern, Nurnberg), but you can have a idea of what they mean.
If you have longer time I suggest you to stop in Bern (better than Zurich) or Luzern to breath a sniff of Swiss atmosphere.
Anyway a very good travel. Have a nice trip
